•  LCL (Less than Container Load)

• i. Goods are crated in specially designed wooden crates, made to measure the size of the goods.
• ii. Bigger risks of damage - need insurance
• iii. Some country has special restriction on LCL due to the fumigation using certain chemical i.e. ethylene Oxide cannot enter Australia .

•  FCL (Full Container Load)

• i. Three types: 20ft (30cbm), 40 ft (60cbm) and 40 ft high cube (70cbm)
• ii. Less risk of damage
• iii. Cheaper to ship goods more than 13m3 volume

•  Crating and packing
•  Documentation (certifications, invoices, export permit)
•  Local handling and trucking
•  Port loading

Shipping cost does NOT include:

Document and Destination Charge levied by the port of destination
Local import charges of destination
Tax of destination
